Very nice, thick, durable, fire/waterproof bags. These bags are solid with strong stitching and solid materials. They close with a zipper and strong velcro. Nice to have in any home for just in case scenarios.
Obviously, I’m not gonna test it by submerging it in water or burning it, but these seem quality and match the description. I’d already put away two before taking the photo so I’m only showing the medium size and the packaging in mine.
These FireShield Pro bags offer decent peace of mind for protecting small valuables like passports and important documents. The material feels sturdy and the zipper seems reliable so far. They're definitely a convenient size for tossing in a safe or go-bag, though they are a bit smaller than I initially pictured, so double-check the dimensions before ordering if you have a lot to store. Overall, a good value for the three-pack, especially for basic fire and water protection.
I ordered these bags to use as a line of defense in protecting important documents from fire. I place documents inside these bags and place those inside a fireproof safe or strong box. It is helpful that the bags come in three sizes so that I can place smaller documents, like vehicle titles, in one of the smaller bag which leaves room in the large bag for full legal size documents. One curious thing about the bags, and why I took away one star, is that the bags use a hook & loop closure outside of the zipper. In an extremely hot thermal environment that would melt.
I have no idea how to genuinely test fireproof bags without actually setting anything on fire. However, I can confidently say that these bags are exceptionally well-made and sturdy. The three-pack comes in varying sizes, making them versatile enough to hold a wide range of documents and valuables. While I hope never to have to rely on them in an actual fire, they provide peace of mind knowing my important items have an extra layer of protection.It’s definitely reassuring to have these bags on hand—it certainly beats wrapping everything in tinfoil and sticking it in the freezer like my grandma used to do.
