JUMPFORCE PRO - Instructions Guide

WE ARE SO MUCH MORE THAN JUST A BRAND

Before ToolTroopers was a brand, we were just two brothers in a garage with our dad.

We didn’t grow up watching from the sidelines. We grew up holding the light steady while he worked. Sometimes he’d hand us a wrench. Sometimes he’d just say “Don’t move.”

It wasn’t really about fixing cars.

It was about discipline. Patience. Pride.

About learning that problems don’t fix themselves, and that being prepared is a way of taking care of the people you love.

Those lessons stayed with us.

Today, they guide everything we build.

We design tools for parents, drivers, families, and problem-solvers, because when something goes wrong, it’s rarely just about the tool.

It’s about getting home safely. It’s about stepping up when it matters.

JumpForce Pro was built with that responsibility in mind.

Strong. Dependable. Long-lasting.

Not made for quick wins. Made to earn its place in your vehicle and stay there for years.

That’s who we are.
And that’s why JumpForce Pro exists.

From our garage to yours,
Martin & Philip
Founders, TOOLTROOPERS

Your garage, your rules.
We just bring the tools.

Instructions to JUMPFORCE PRO

Step 1: Charge the JUMPFORCE PRO

Before First Use

Fully charge the JUMPFORCE PRO before using it for the first time. This ensures maximum performance and long-term battery health.

We recommend charging for 3 hours the first time. Thereafter each charge only takes 30-45 minutes for a full charge, if a compatible fast charging cable and adapter is being used.

Charging via USB-C (Recommended)

  1. Connect the included USB-C charging cable to the USB-C port on the jump starter.

  2. Connect the other end of the cable to a USB wall charger adapter or USB power outlet.

  3. Plug the charger into a power outlet. Charging will begin automatically (The Battery LED will start to blink.).

Jump-Starting Instructions

Check Battery Level Before Use.

Turn on the jump starter to check the battery level. For reliable starting performance, the battery level should be above 50%. If the battery level is 25% or below, recharge the unit before use.

  1. Remove the protective caps and firmly insert the Smart Clamp Device (EC5) Connector into the Smart Clamp port on the main unit.

  2. onnect the RED clamp to the battery positive (+) terminal.

  3. Connect the BLACK clamp to the battery negative (–) terminal
(or a clean, unpainted chassis ground if recommended by your vehicle manufacturer).

  4. Hold the Power Button down for 2 seconds to turn on the JUMPFORCE PRO.

  5. Wait for the smart clamp to indicate READY (green light on).
    - If the smart clamp blinks green or red, and makes any buzz / beeps, go to the Error Indication overview.

  6. Start the vehicle.
    - If it does not start, wait 30–60 seconds before trying again.
    - Do not exceed three attempts. (If it doesn’t start after three attempts, redo the process. If it won’t start, the problem may not be your car battery.)

  7. Once the vehicle starts, check the Jump Start is turned off and remove the clamps in reverse order:
    - BLACK clamp first, then RED clamp
    - Disconnect the Smart Clamp Device (EC5) from the main unit

Important Notes

  • Allow the unit to cool between attempts.

  • Do not leave clamps connected after starting

Automatic Safety Timeout

  • The smart clamp automatically cuts off output after 90 seconds.

  • If this occurs, make sure the unit is powered off, disconnect the clamps, and restart the process.

Error Indication

  • If the red warning light flashes or an alarm sounds on the Smart Clamp Device, stop immediately.

  • Take note of the red and green lights and buzzer. Are the red and green light stable, does it blink, does the buzzer sound every second or every other?

  • Power off the unit, disconnect the clamps, and refer to the “Indications / Errors Overview” section below to identify and resolve the issue before continuing.

Red light solid + followed by continuous long Buzzes

Battery voltage outside safe range.

The jump starter has detected an unsafe or abnormal voltage condition at the clamps.

This may occur if:
1. The jump starter battery is too low to operate safely

2. The clamps are connected to an incompatible electrical system (e.g. 24 V system)

3. There is a wiring fault, polarity issue, or voltage spike

To protect the jump starter and the vehicle’s electronics, the system has disabled output.

When to Use Force Start (the Override Button)

The override button is designed for emergency use only.

The override button should only be used when the vehicle battery is completely discharged and the smart clamp cannot detect it automatically. Use with caution and only after confirming correct clamp connection and the car is in normal condition without any signs of short circuit.

WARNING: Short circuit may cause explosion.

Use it only if ALL of the following are true:

  • The vehicle uses a 12V lead-acid battery

  • The clamps are correctly connected (RED to +, BLACK to –)

  • The jump starter has sufficient charge (Click the start button to verify, needs at least 50% / 2 bars).

  • The vehicle battery is extremely low or fully depleted

  • The smart clamp does not indicate READY (green light does not appear) or any Red Errors.

In these situations, the vehicle battery voltage may be too low for the smart clamp to detect automatically. The override function allows the jump starter to temporarily bypass battery detection and deliver power directly.

How to Use Force Start (Emergency Only)

  1. Plug the smart clamp EC5 connector fully into the jump start output port.

  2. Connect the RED clamp to the battery positive (+) terminal.

  3. Connect the BLACK clamp to the battery negative (–) terminal
(or a clean, unpainted chassis ground if recommended by your vehicle manufacturer).

  4. Hold down the Power Button to turn on the JUMPFORCE PRO.

  5. Press and hold the override button on the smart clamp for 5 seconds.

  6. When the indicator shows override mode (green light), start the vehicle immediately.

  7. Once the vehicle starts. Make sure the Jump starter is turned off and remove the clamps in reverse order:

    - BLACK first, then RED.

⚠️ Important: Override mode is active for a limited time only. If the vehicle does not start, stop and allow the unit to reset (Turn it off for 1 minute) before attempting again.

Important Safety Notes

  • Do not use override mode for routine jump starts

  • Do not use on vehicles with damaged batteries

  • Do not use if clamps are connected incorrectly

  • Override mode bypasses the safety protections and must be used carefully

If the override function does not start the vehicle, the issue may not be the battery.

The Power Bank Function & How to Use it

The JUMPFORCE PRO can also be used as a portable power bank to charge phones, tablets, and other USB-powered devices.

How to Charge Your Devices

  1. Hold down the Power Button to turn on the jump starter.

  2. Do not connect the smart clamp (EC5 cable) while using the power bank function.

  3. Connect your device using the included USB fast charging cable or other compatible cable:
    - Use the USB Output port, or
    - Use the USB-C input/output port

  4. Charging will start automatically.
