Will it work on my car?
It works with most cars, trucks, SUVs, vans, RVs, EVs, motorcycles and more, up to 6.0L gas or 3.0L diesel. If you don't know your engine size, search "what liter size is my [your vehicle model] engine". It also works on electric vehicles, which still rely on a small 12V battery for locks, screens and startup.
Is it easy and safe to use? Could it damage my car?
Five steps, under two minutes, no experience needed. The 8-point SafeStart system checks the connection before any power moves and stops automatically if something is wrong: it blocks reverse polarity, short circuits and high temperature, and checks battery voltage, dead batteries, the internal relay, clamp contact and the unit's own charge level. A clamp on the wrong terminal is a warning light rather than a problem, which is what makes it safe enough for a spouse, teenager or parent to use alone.
How often do I need to recharge it?
A full charge holds for 3 to 4 months on standby and gives you up to 25 starts. Recharging takes 30 to 45 minutes with the included 65W USB-C charger, not the overnight job people put off. In extreme cold or heat, top it up more often, and the free Recharge Reminder Service emails you every 90 days so you don't have to keep track of it.
